Draw through, shape language, texture, and dissection drawing
We will introduce you to basic perspective and the “Draw Through” technique. We will talk about shape language and how to plot complex forms in perspective. You will also learn the necessary skills to create form and volume with the help of drawing exercises like, texture application, following basic seams, and dissection. This class also includes going over organic and inorganic objects, like plants and simple hard surfaces.”

Freelance Concept Artist
Gen Sy, also known as “Kabukicat”, is a freelance concept artist based in Metro Manila. She has worked initially as an in-house artist for outsourcing studios and has worked on online games, mobile games, table top, slot games, and even console games. She has also ventured into working as a 3D artist for online games like Elsword Online. But her main line of work is making concepts for characters and props. Notable companies that Kabukicat has worked with are companies like Holy Cow, Kill3r Combo, Level up! (Tencent), Synergy88 Studios, Red Fox, Impish Games, Humble Squid, and of course Brushpoint Academy.

No prerequisites
Our students can expect to commit at least 20 hours per week for this course to be effective. You will spend time on watching video lessons, live session, and assignment.
Yes, we have a 3-month installment payment option for a total of Php 30,000. For this option, we require Php 10,000 down-payment for the student to be officially enrolled.
You will be able to get the certificate once you complete 80% of the whole course including the final project.
Job after the course is not guaranteed but we will help you prepare your CV and portfolio for our network of artists working in the industry and game studios where we can refer you when there’s an opening.
Also, sometimes if we instructors need more artists on our own freelance projects, we reach out to our students to give them opportunities.
